How We Are Supporting At-Risk Populations

Through our Nutrition for Zero Hunger initiative, we are committed to ending world hunger, supporting global nonprofit organizations with critical resources and expertise to ensure people in need have access to good nutrition.

During times of crisis, the need to ensure access to food is critical. That is why Herbalife Nutrition and the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation have taken steps working alongside leading organizations to ensure that these communities have the resources to provide access to healthy, nutritious food.

These are some of the steps we have taken towards supporting vulnerable populations:

Globally, Herbalife Nutrition is supporting large-scale COVID-19 relief efforts:

“Because of the support of partners like Herbalife Nutrition, WFP is in a strong position to tackle this virus, but there’s still much more to be done,” said Barron Segar, President and CEO of World Food Program USA. “The outbreak has been devastating to families worldwide and requires an unprecedented response from business partners to humanitarian and government agencies.”

In the U.S., Herbalife Nutrition is supporting vulnerable populations affected by COVID-19:

“Feed the Children is taking action to ensure our neighbors aren’t forgotten. Eighty percent of our standard domestic work involves supplying community partners (like food pantries and soup kitchens) with the bulk of the items they need to do their daily work. This will continue. Our trucks will keep moving across the U.S. to bring support to those families who need it. We expect our work to only increase during these unprecedented times, said Travis Arnold, President and CEO Feed the Children. “Through our vast network of community and corporate partners like Herbalife Nutrition, we are continuing to work each day to ensure that no child is hungry.”

Donating to Fontana older residents

“These moments that we are going through do not define us as a city, a state or a country. These have been difficult days for all of us. But the residents, business owners and employees have rallied together to provide essential services to our most vulnerable populations,” said Acquanetta Warren, Mayor, City of Fontana. “Partnerships with local businesses such as Herbalife Nutrition, adds tremendous value to our Senior programming and remind us that this community is Fontana Together.”
