Children’s Health and Nutrition Remain Important as Ever

We know it can be difficult to think positively as news of the pandemic is everywhere, but even in this time of uncertainty, it’s important to take notice of the helpers – those community members and organizations who are seeking opportunities to help others in this time of need.

All of our 171 casa Herbalife Nutrition partners – from Michigan and throughout America to Peru, and from Italy to South Korea – need our support more than ever in order to continue to help vulnerable children with good nutrition.

How We Support Children with Good Nutrition

Good nutrition is about more than just having enough food to eat – our Casa Herbalife Nutrition programs provide children with the nourishment, care, and education they need to thrive today and spread their wings tomorrow. That’s why we provide millions of dollars in funding each year to orphanages, hospitals, schools, and organizations in over 61 countries.

Inspiring Stories of Hope

Every day, I am inspired by stories of resiliency, triumph and hope thanks to the programs offered by our Casa partners. One of the stories that come to mind is that of Anna, one of the participants at the six-week summer program organized by Lily Missions Center (LMC), a Casa Herbalife Nutrition partner in North America.

Some of the activities Anna enjoys include cooking classes, music lessons, summer school, gardening, and reading. Anna discovered a passion for reading and so she checks out books to take back home to continue reading together with her family.

Then there’s Bri who began visiting the Healy Murphy Center (HMC) in San Antonio, Texas, over two years ago, when she was 15 years old. When she arrived, she had just experienced the traumatic loss of her mother and came from an unstable, food-insecure living arrangement. Needless to say, she was having a difficult time adjusting to a traditional learning environment. At Healy-Murphy, Bri was connected to mental health counseling services and support. She received daily meals, and the center staff developed a custom-tailored academic curriculum for Bri to follow at her own pace.

Stories like these keep me optimistic about the future of our children and families. We continue to work every day to ensure kids like Anna and Bri receive access to meals, nutrition and care they need to transform their lives.

How You Can Help

Without adequate funding, our partners will not be able to sustain some of their most important projects like bringing clean water to villages or giving children and families access to food.

You can help these organizations by donating to HNF today. Your donations will help us to continue to support our Casa Herbalife Nutrition partners and disaster relief organizations that are currently assisting with communities affected by COVID-19.
