Family means a lot to me. Growing up, being close to my family and having their support was essential for thriving. Time is something you can never get back, and I wanted to be there for my kids during their childhood.
When I worked as a preschool teacher, I remember having kids from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM because their parents were working. I saw first-hand how often children were alone much of the day because of their parent’s demanding office jobs.
That’s something I definitely didn’t want for my family.
I have been with Herbalife Nutrition for 17 years, and it’s the best decision I have ever made. Reuben and I are proud of the business we’ve built. It has not been easy, but we have been able to build a strong business and enables me to become a present parent.
The business allows me to settle schedules and priorities around what matters most: family. It gives me a chance to be with my kids – being there to prepare breakfast for them, take them to school, do homework with them, and take them to museums and field trips.
At our Nutrition Club, we get to interact with the locals and encourage them to lead a healthy, active lifestyle. It’s a lot of fun, and I like the idea of being somebody who inspires a community. I think it’s a good example for my kids.
